What brought you to seek care, and what were you struggling with before we started working together?
“I came to seek care after passing of my mother and my husband. I was experiencing physical and emotional pain.”
What was your experience like during your sessions or treatment?
“I am so grateful for the care I received from Dr. Vie. From the very beginning, she made me feel comfortable, listened to my concerns, and took the time to understand what I was experiencing. My acupuncture sessions were both calming and restorative. After just a few visits, I noticed that the tension in my shoulders eased and the headaches I had been dealing with became much less frequent. I also started sleeping better and waking up with more energy, which made a real difference in my daily life. Dr. Vie’s gentle approach, professionalism, and genuine compassion made every visit a positive experience. I truly appreciate how she treats the whole person rather than just the symptoms. I always left my appointments feeling more relaxed, balanced, and hopeful. I would highly recommend Dr. Vie to anyone considering acupuncture or looking for a caring practitioner who is dedicated to helping her patients feel their best. Thank you, Dr. Vie, for your kindness, expertise, and exceptional care.”

How has your life changed since beginning treatment?
“Since beginning treatment, I have experienced meaningful improvements in both my physical and emotional well-being. The tension in my shoulders has eased, my headaches have become much less frequent, and I feel more balanced overall. I am sleeping better, waking up with more energy, and managing daily stress with greater ease. Beyond the physical improvements, I feel calmer, more centered, and better able to handle life’s challenges. My overall quality of life has improved because I feel healthier, more relaxed, and more connected to my well-being. I truly appreciate the compassionate care and personalized approach that Dr. Vie provides, and I always leave my appointments feeling supported and renewed.”
Were there any unexpected or surprising results?
“Yes. One of the most surprising changes was how much calmer and more relaxed I felt after my treatments. I expected relief from physical tension, but I didn’t expect the improvement in my sleep, energy level, and overall sense of well-being. I found myself feeling more balanced emotionally, handling stress more easily, and waking up feeling more refreshed. Those unexpected benefits have had a positive impact on my daily life.”

A note from Valencie
Tara was the very first patient to sign up for the Grief Processing pathway when I put the protocol together. She came twice a week for two months, plus herbs. It was amazing to see how she responded and the type of results we got.
This protocol is dear to my heart because I have experienced immense grief, and that is what allows me to hold space for others. Holding space for grief is not something I am uncomfortable with. I call it tending to the living. Oftentimes when we lose people close to us, a part of us leaves with them, and we find ourselves floating, depressed, or unable to sleep, while the rest of the world keeps going. These symptoms can be resolved. There is hope. We can truly return to the land of the living, integrating the grief while carrying the fond memory of those we love.
This work is so close to my heart that at one point I considered becoming a funeral director. I worked as a funeral attendant, holding space during viewings, providing comfort to those who needed it. It made me realize I was already doing this work in my treatment rooms, and that my calling is to tend to the living as they go through seasons of mourning.
I thank Tara for being the very first patient to make that commitment. More patients came after her and experienced similar healing and integration. This is sacred work, and I am honored every time someone trusts me to walk it with them.
