Welcome to
Valencie Exceus, APTwenty years of healing practice
I have practiced Chinese medicine in South Florida for twenty years. My work is trauma-informed, rooted in the wisdom of the body, and oriented toward your whole health. If you have been looking for care that takes the full picture seriously, you may have found what you are looking for.

Whole-person medicine,rooted and unhurried.
Born in Jean-Rabel, Haiti, I spent summers at my grandparents' home in the mountains, surrounded by medicinal plants, fruit trees, and a quality of stillness I would later understand as a parasympathetic paradise. The land shaped me before any training ever could.
I came to the United States at twelve. In 2006, I became a licensed Acupuncture Physician, and I have been in private practice for twenty years. My practice sits at the intersection of Traditional Chinese Medicine, trauma-informed contemplative practice, and community healing.
I work from the understanding that the body is designed to heal, and that when healing stalls, something is causing an obstruction. What sets my work apart is not any one technique but the way I understand healing. I approach it the way a gardener tends a garden: with patience, consistency, and deep respect for natural timing.
The fullness of your humanity is welcome here.

Every door leads to the same intention: meeting your body with patience, skill, and reverence.

What I believeabout healing.
I approach healing the way a gardener tends a garden: with patience, consistency, and deep respect for natural timing.
I work from the understanding that the body is not malfunctioning. It is communicating the only way it knows how, and that communication deserves a clinical response as whole as the message being sent.
Everything I do rests on a single conviction: that healing is possible, and that every moment presents an opportunity to choose the path toward repair. That remembering is always possible.
